Fluff I, Fluff II

Fluff I & Fluff II  each one is 6 x 6 gallery wrap canvas
Now you know that not all chicks are yellow, some come in this variety of colors making them a challenge to paint but an awful lot of fun at the same time. The backgrounds on these are identical even tho though show up slightly different.

Just Grazin

Just Grazin oil on canvas 10 x 10
These calves, now teenagers spent their days munching grass in a pasture I passed every day in the summer. I had a difficult time getting a photo, either raining,or they were in the trees or some other conflict. I finally capture photos one early afternoon and had enough reference material for the light and mood to be able to do this painting.

Ageless Beauty

Ageless Beauty oil on panel 9 x 12
Thanks to my  Friend Lynne who found this beauty in the woods, I had reference for a painting. I must tell you, I am not a car person, collector or lover of things with wheels but for some reason this one stole my heart. It seems nature has surrounded her with a blanket of snow and a few golden grasses for decor. Perhaps it is its most beautiful in this blanket of white rather than abandoned in a junk yard to be crushed. What do you think?

Long Gone

Long Gone oil on panel 18 x 24
This painting  trys to convey that not only old buildings are abandoned but the homes of birds who have also made their home here. This lonely feeling of things LONG GONE has always intriqued me. I wonder who lived here and why did they leave ? These things that are abandoned and left  to fall to ruin leave more questions than answers.......what do you think?
